Virat Kohli is not done with milestones and records in this season of Indian Premier League as he becomes the first player to cross 900-run mark in a single edition. The 27-year-old achieved the feat during Royal Challengers Bangalore’s six-wicket win over Delhi Daredevils in Raipur on Sunday.Kohli scored yet another match-winning half-century, his sixth this season, and helped RCB qualify for the playoffs.Earlier, in the tournament Kohli broke team-mate Chris Gayle’s record for most runs in a single season by surpassing his 733 runs. Gayle took 15 games to score that many runs in 2012, while Kohli needed 12 games to go past. Kohli too overtook his India team-mate Suresh Raina’s overall IPL total by storming past the 4000-run mark to become the all time leading run-scorer in the league. However, Raina reclaimed his record soon which belonged to him for several years.Kohli has been in scintillating form for the past few months, especially in the IPL by scoring four centuries and six fifties.
