No news on my QPR future, claims manager Ramsey

first_imgQPR head coach Chris Ramsey says he has received no news about his future at the club beyond this season.Ramsey was promised the job on a long-term basis if he kept the club up after taking over from Harry Redknapp in February. But he does not know his fate if the Rs drop down a division, which is looking increasingly likely with the club second from bottom and still to face trips to Liverpool and Manchester City.“I’ve had no update,” he said. “I’m fighting to stay in the job and the club has been very good to me so far, everything has been good.“Im trying to put that aside and focus on staying up. Im in the job and I’ll be in it as long as long as the club want me.“When you have a challenge like we have you have to make sure you focus on that challenge. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about it but we need to make sure we put the battle to the forefront of our thinking and make it very difficult for them not to give me the job.“If we stay up it would be difficult for the club not to give me the job.” 1 QPR boss Chris Ramsey last_img read more
